I don't. I figure a republic will feel the same need to spend money on the presidency, so you aren't saving money by dropping the monarchy.

No, even if they won barely, Tampa was not nearly as exciting as Calgary was to be in for the playoffs. It's not as hockey-mad as Calgary is.

Iginla turned down better offers from American teams in order to stay in Alberta. He's said many times he wants to play in his home province.

Kipper is what's going to cost us, he was one of the lowest paid goalies in the league last year.

If people find it important that we have ties to a bunch of incest PR whores, then they need to get their priorities straight. It's even worse if they think it's a major definition of who we are as a nation.
