  • Child Molestor Proudly Wears American Flag

Well, he may have had a different motive... just saw a video clip of the child molestor (murderer?) up in Idaho or Montana walking around a convenience store with the little girl he abducted. Blazened across his shirt was a big American flag. But according to what he said in the past when he was in trouble for similar behavior (why was he let go?), he hates not only America but expressed his desire to damage society. So why the American flag?

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Irony, maybe. Or maybe he is unstable, and has become the exact opposite of what he was during that interview (a jingoist)

Methinks this guy believes the appearance of patriotism puts him in a different light in the eyes of authority. He's right of course, cops profile all the time...they gotta... but that leads to more expanded profiling that leads to different levels of citizenship. The message here is if you show your patriotism (kinda like Jesus' lesson on public opposed to private piety) you are better than those who don't.

Me thinks that was probably the only clean shirt the scuzzball had and it probably wasnt his to begin with.

Yeah, but its a symbol of what he reviles. Its even more strange than someone burning the flag while wearing one draped across his shirt.

One of those rare instances in which I wouldn't find flag burning offensive ...

So what? flag waving patriots(in many countries) also support dictators for finacial gain and have the blood of innocents on their hands and the peoples they represent in the world.

A**holes can be patriotic too. You dont have to look far for a great example

waving a flag doesn't make you 'good'.
having a 'i Love jesus' bumper sticker doesn't make you a good christian.

Its your actions(in this case the child molesters evil actions) and your deeds in life that make you a 'good' or 'bad' person.
