he was in trouble, he was all alone in the yellow jersey group, none of his lieutenants made it with him. that was a big tactical mistake that coulda cost him, but didnt.

He may be bluffing, it wouldn't be the first time.

he couldnt handle the pressure - he felt lance breathing down his neck

if Hincapie/Jose Azevedo/Rubiera/ any DSC guy cannot stay with lance tomorrow in the Jura, this tour will be as tough as his 2003 campaign.

everyone will go all out tomorrow because there is a rest day afterwards

Was letting Voigt go a mistake?

No, it wasn't. It was a well-considered decision by Bruyneel. There is no sense in defending the yellow today. Without the jersey on Tuesday, Discovery is more handsfree. Voigt won't be able to keep up in the rides to Courchevel and Briancon anyway.

                  BTW, Rasmussen and Rabobank

voigt and christophe moreau wont do anything in the real mountain stages. at least lances teammates stuck with him today and didnt collapse, so its better news for him today, even though he lost the yellow, then yesterday.

David Zabrieksi abandonned the race yesterday, and so did Jan Kirsipuu. The total number of dropouts is 14 out of 189, and we arnt even in the mountains yet.

Sylvain Calzati also abaNDONNEd the race after crashing three times in five days.

That number isn't even that high. I've seen more retirements at this stage in the past.

"Vino" just got dropped from the Peloton on Stage 10. I guess I was wrong about him after all.

Is Rasmussen a real threat to win it all?
