I also still don't understand how taking the responsible step of seeing to morning after contraception ( say if a condom broke) makes you less pure-- I never had to do that but I don't understand the logic

Ditto on getting tested for a venereal disease-- I see it as only prudent to get completely tested before getting to a condomless stage with a new partner, IF you have been sexually active in the past.
