  • This heat here... is deadly

It's 30+ degrees Celsius here all day long, for days and days..
This is inhuman, all the more because I'm having exams and I can't get **** done with these temperatures

Any tips on cooling down from people that find 25 degrees to be a bit chilly?

Yeah, it's been up to 33 here in the past week...I've invested in an air conditioner - makes life a lot easier

We were having this same problem here in Ontario a few weeks ago, and actually its just starting to return. Here's some tips from my experience:

            1. Close windows during the day, keep the blinds down.
            2. At night, open the windows to let the cool air in.
            3. Buy a few fans that stand 3-4 ft off the floor (the cheap kind)
            4. take those fans and position them at oposite corners of your bedroom and have them all blowing directly at an open door... after a few hours you should notice a bit of a difference.
            5. Have another fan blowing directly on you.

Ultimately though, nothing can beat an air conditioner.

Aluminum foil on the west-facing windows. It drops the termperature about 5 degrees (okay, about 3 degrees Celcius).

                            This response is getting old.

We all don't live in hot places, therefore we're not as used to it.
