Only if we can send the NBA the way of the XFL.

      **** off.

I don't care if you don't want hockey teams around you. That's cool with me.

Just tell the NHL that they're never going to be a major sport in NA the same way B-Ball, baseball and football are, so they can stop trying to expand into ****ty southern markets like ****ing Nashville and we can get back to the good old days when Winnipeg and Hartford had teams.

Just cause I wanted the Expos to die doesn't mean I wanted MLB to die...

Teams in Winnepeg and Hartford couldn't generate enough money to be profitable before. They will have no more success now. To have sucessful teams in all the old Hockey cities would require salaries so low, all the stars would be playing in Europe.

Why does any athlete need to make tens of millions of dollars a year? Or any actor/actress for that matter? Or CEO?

            ...

            No, seriously.
F*ck these whining, spoiled yuppies. F*ck 'em all.

People get whatever the market is willing to bear regardless of 3rd party definitions of it being just or deserved.

                Question:
                How much is it worth?

                Answer:
Whatever someone else is willing to pay.

The old model is why teams relocated from Winnipeg and Hartford.

If the players care so much about playing in North America to take a pay cut, then sure, it will happen, but I don't see them looking out for anyone other than themselves.

North America doesn't need professional hockey to get their fix, they will go and do what they have always been doing, and that is going to watch minor league games. After all, these tickets are affordable and you can take a family out to a game, without breaking the bank.
Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Why do you side with multimillion owners who's wealth dwarfs even the most outrageous player salery? What do they do to earn that money? Seriously, **** 'em.

Unless someone rigs the game with salary caps.

The players deserved the money they were earning because they have rare talents, the owners were willing to pay the salaries and people pay money to see the players, not the owners.

Because he's seen the health of the NFL, where the owners have broken the players' union and have created the best functioning sports league in all of the North America, by far.
