    That happened last year.

I have not had an alien experience, and neither has anyone else.

Yeah. I once got drunk at a pub and woke up with the wolf-woman from Sirius under my arm.

Early this year, I saw an extremely odd and distinct UFO for several minutes, and my neighbors saw it for a portion of that time after I went to get them.

The flight behavior, color, and physical characteristics of the thing was just bizarre, and I have yet to come up with anything (and I'm an aerospace/rocketry geek) that would explain what we saw.

Not quite the same as stories about little grey things playing with my DNA and drilling random holes in my teeth, though.

Unless discussions with Kidicious count, no.

Ah damn! - i've lost a whole year what the hell happened........maybe those bright lights?

As a serious comment i could also offer my 'hovering ghost hedgehog' experience as maybe being of alien origin?

@ Agathon - that's too common place to be a ufo incident surely?

              HAHAHA!

              I'm soo glad.

I saw some lights once too. Rather boring after a while, and there was an air war going on ...Jets vs Miami, so after a while I went with the ball game over the aliens. Still, it happened. I saw it. Impossible, but they do exist.

              Ha!

Why not? I was in orbit at the time. Re-entry was hot and painful.

I've got a good friend who has a simular experience from about 12 years ago in the uk. As you say the way the thing moved in the sky, its colour and shape were all not 'normal' - he really doesn't know what it was either.

UFOs have rational explanations. We just don't know what they are yet.

                      that is 'politician' speak Che!

so that makes them UFOs - cool

I've decided i have to vote yes - that 'ghost' thing i saw as a kid was 'flying', definately was an 'object' and still to this day remains 'unidentified' - as it was so small i feel a bit cheap, maybe its half a yes vote?

I've met quite a few people who claim to have seen bonafide ufo's - even a few guys who go around to the 'hotspots' with cameras etc.

I've always wanted to have a good ufo experience, like chill out with the alien dudes and explain we all dont need anal probes etc, and most of us would settle for a nice pint of beer and a chat instead.

Non-random vector and velocity changes over an extended period of time and significant arc of the sky (approximately 40° observed straightline flight, then a 10° by 15° box)

Aerobatic maneuvers far beyond the capability of any manned flight and far beyond the flight performance envelope of any UAV.

No aspect or luminance changes on a resolvable disk light source of about 45 arc-seconds diameter, until a straight vector change with linear dimming for two minutes and twenty seconds.

Color of light source did not correspond to any signal or navigation light, or any color of light from combustion of any aviation or rocketry fuel source - not even similar.

Based on the times to make different arc transits in the sky, I did some quick calculations of distance v. velocity, and then estimated a minimum distance based on lack of sound, and total inability with very high end binoculars to resolve anything beyond a single light source, even when the object passed in front of other light sources, I came up with some size v. distance estimates.

The range of possibilities totally eliminated any UAVs, the uniformity and invariance of the light source plus non-random vector changes eliminate any natural phenomena I've ever heard of, and the rate of vector change and distance/speed and size/distance estimates eliminated any manned aircraft.

So I'm open to any further suggestions.

I can explain away some as drug enduced. But some accounts i've been told have been by very 'straight' people.

And from the sounds of it MtG wouldn't just make it up for a laugh - i believe him
