Unfortunately there's really nothing there to psychoanalyze. Who takes a moderating job on an internet forum and spends their time policing others? Ming is the only exception I have ever met to this. Partly because he is older and has kids and has already been very successful in the advertising industry. Are you over 40 though making good money and have a family? I think not.

Being successful in advertising makes you successful? It makes you a f*cking paraste on society, they do no useful work, they just make stuff thst use emotion to create excess demand.

                Whose DL is Dextrose?

I am tempted by saying MalevolentLight, but it isn't clear yet.

I love how people living within the cozy confines of academic institutions attack everything capitalist when they have probably never held a real job in their life. Creating excess demand provides a service to those selling goods. It informs the public of the existence of these goods and creates an atmosphere of competition for other companies to make known what they offer as well. Were it not for advertising, it would be impossible for companies to sell on a national scale. You would have companies killing the competition in their small area and establishing small monopolies since their only avenue of spreading knowledge of their product would be through word of mouth. Those in advertising and marketing are the backbone of a capitalist society. You are in favor of a capitalist society right? I mean, you couldn't be a communist I'm sure... not in this day and age.

Isaiah Berlin sure didn't think Mill was a socialist as he complained that Mill didn't value equality and social progress and was solely for negative liberty (freedom from), but not positive liberty (freedom to).

The Bible, the Koran, and the Vedas get disqualified on the basis of not having been written in the last two centuries.

What do you suggest? Book of Mormon? Dianetics? The Kitab-i-Aqdas?
Sorry, my fault - didn't bother to read the article

Anyway, I think that any religious book no matter when or where it is written is a great danger to humnakind, so all of your suggestions fall into the danger category.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
