That is what people like Dan don't like to see because it upsets their eggs benedict and shows them what they are really supporting with such indifference to human suffering.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I wasn't in the military, I'm in the peace business.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..
Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

I also run a mile from anything that whiffs of war or fighting so I'm not one of those conflict junkies.
But anyway, when you think of Iraq, think of the suffering of the children.Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

I've tried to think of the interests of the vast majority of the children. It was a cocked up situation to begin with and we were making the situation worse by what we were doing beforehand anyways. If we're going to be gutless no matter the situation, I would rather us have been gutless in this fashion.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. I don't think that made it worse, but think that "shock and awe" was well over the top. Good for the goose, good for the gander and whatnot.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. Or the outrage of Bush dressing up as a soldier while ignorant about what war is really like.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
