Common sense. Most Muslims dislike OBL and in the one election an Islamist party did win, the voters would probably have voted for the Gay Liberation Front if it meant getting rid of the incumbent. Bush got more votes than any candidate in US history.

Arafat was a different story. I imagine he was much more popular among Arabs than Bush is among Yanks. Then again, Arafat wasn't a lunatic criminal.

This is crap! All religions need to be equal and there should be no special privilages for Islam just because many of its followers are homicidal maniacs. The obvious lesson for Jews and Christians is you just need to kill a few thousand people and then you get special privilages.
