It is those same parents that blame schools for their childs' lack of disclipline and unruliness. Sorry, doesn't work here. Children that are raised by irresponsible parents will continue to be irresponsible throughout their entire lives, regardless of their attachment toward school, because parenting has a MUCH greater effect than teaching does on people.

Ah yes, the Showcase Channel....I remember me and my friends used to stay up late watching Chaz (the old foreign film host) who was SUCH a pervert....we saw a lot of wierd stuff there, once we saw this ****ed-up Romanian movie about post-Ceaucescu times where a.

A. boy does chores, mows lawns, etc for weeks for a pross until she lets him have a ride for 'barter'.

B. A husband drilled a screw into his wifes head and she went into shock, then went around the whole rest of the movie with the screw still sticking out of her head.

C. the Ceaucescu couple getting ripped apart like a zombie movie by the crowd.


Yep, showcase has some ****ed-up ****.

Well by that logic, lets keep it off the airwaves alltogether... since there will be kids watching it whenever.

The networks and cable aren't responsible for taking care of your kid. By 11 O'Clock they should be in bed... if not, then you are taking a chance with the TV. Stop being such a prude and ruining it for the rest of us .

Hell, if you are *****ing about irresponsible attitudes to sex, in the US, at 11:00 every night, the E! channel (on every basic cable package, just about) shows the Howard Stern show, which is basically just cameras into his radio studios while he does his though. However, just for you guys, they put the whole fuzzy thing over the naughty naked bits .

So when kids who don't have good parents have really bad things happen to them that they are led into by influences that nobody gives a **** about, it is just their tough luck, right?

What I find extremely disturbing is that pro-censorship is prevalent on both sides of the spectrum in America, both Democrats and Republicans.

What I would do for a popular party that would actually OPPOSE censorship... feh.

In Canada all stations are licensed and regulated. And more homes have cable than rely purely on broacast by airwaves.
