And when more corpses start turning up, this armed gang won't have anything to do with those.

That said, there's nothing inherently racist about throttling immigration somewhat. The Californian perspective is slightly different because most of your immigrants stem from a single country, but the principle is the same.

well maybe because the people doing this live along the mexican border...

they came directly to the U.S. (or via European nations).

Iirc, the only guy who tried to come through the canadian border was caught. Not a good argument there.

And yes I support toughening up our borders, including the canadian one. I also support loosening immigration laws so illegal aliens aren't illegal.

I can't believe liberals blindly support illegal immigration. We are losing out on taxes to support their precious social programs.

We need the workers. This is obvious. They wouldn't come if there was no work for them. All I ask is they be documented, given a social security card, and have taxes deducted from their paycheck.

By allowing people in this country illegally, we also allow criminals in illegally. You guys don't see how many crimes are committed by illegal aliens in Texas and other southern states. Sure white people still make up more crimes, but there's no sense increasing crime for no reason.

It's not impossible to locate and cave in tunnels in the San Diego area. It's not impossible to cover the towns and cities on the border. The only one that is impossible to cover is the deserts. You can put up a fence, but that isn't environmentally acceptable.

This organization may be new but other organizations have been doing the same thing here in San Diego (on the US/Mexican border for those who don't know) as far back as I can remember. The truth is we need more border patrol agents and we need fences in urban areas which don't have a million holes cut in them. If we really wanted to end illegal immigration and human trafficing by "coyotes" then we just have to do three simple things. 1) Severly punish employers who hire illegals (currently the fines are so low, around $100 to $1000 depending upon if they're repeat offenders, that the employers can pay the fines and still make large sums of money hiring illegals). 2) Remove the legal road blocks to catching illegals. Currently police cannot even ask if a person is illegal nor can a school or a doctor or just about any other professional. Illegal immigration is a crime yet Congress wants to pander to the latino vote so they block the enforcement of the law; that must stop. 3) You need to make the penlties for people caught breaking the law harsh enough to deter the economic benifits of breaking the law. Right now they just dump then five feet inside Tijuana and they all just try again an hour later.

Another great help would be to remove illegals free access to social programs. In many border states illegals make up 90%+ of the people at public health clinics and their children are swamping the school. City, state, and county governments have had to slash programs because free loaders are sucking up all the resources and that prevents citizens from having access to programs they fund. By removing the access illegals enjoy to these programs we will provide another powerful incentive for them to stop breaking the law.

Great comments, guys. I hate the knee-jerk reaction from some quarters that labels all people who want border enforcement as "racists." Illegal immigration is a serious problem that requires serious attention.

              Right back at you.

First off we suffer a 10 Billion dollar tax loss to these people. Then we lose out on Remittances, money they send home. We don't run a trade surplus with them so all of that money just leaves our economy.
Oh please, are you saying that with the money they send back they're building Hollywood-style mansions? Part of the video showed us what was built by one of the seasonal workers it followed: A hovel. His village was still dirt poor and he'd been building that "house" for 5 years piece by piece. The US isn't the "Get Rich Quick" scheme you think it is Whoha. These people are still well-below the US poverty line and much of what they make they need to support themselves here, like food, rent, and medical (farming is back-breaking work). Whatever is left over is still going to be very little. Frankly, Bush's little coronation ceremony earlier this year probably equalled a large chunk of what illegals have sent out of this country each year.

Then we lose out on the fact that Businesses have so much labor that they don't have to innovate and move up to requiring manufacturing and tech. Then our legal immigrants lose out because the people that compete for their jobs are: you guessed it, those illegals.
That is such horse****. Why is it you think that these farmers use and abuse the cheap labor of illegals, hmm? BECAUSE THEY'RE CHEAP LABOR AND THEY'RE ILLEGAL!! They can get away with using and abusing them because politically businesses have more sway over government action against illegals than people pissing and moaning about, "they're taking the crap jobs that we don't work in the first place that we don't want anyway." More over, since they're inclined to use and ABUSE these people, why the f*ck would they be interested in replacing them? These farms are not about to replace cheap, undocumented Human labor with expensive, high-tech robots.

I find it troubling that you would think that we need a ghettoized slave labor class in this country for any reason.
I find it moronic of you that you are putting words in my mouth with that dimwitted little strawman inspite of all the posts you've read of mine. I most certainly DO NOT think we need a "ghettoized slave labor class." I recognize the fact that we already do and that it needs to be stopped. Part of what we are doing in my Anthro class in this section is we watched a video following some people trying to get the strawberry pickers of Watson Valley to unionize in order to better fight for humane work condidtions. We saw the comparatively abysmal living conditions some have (though some do live somewhat comfortably). We saw the pitance they're paid (under minimum wage) without any benefits like health coverage. We saw that they'e constantly exposed to pesticides because the farm owners make them work in fields adjacent to ones just sprayed. Then there are the illegals that aren't working in the fields. Their jobs are still crap and the people still aren't about to be replaced with robo-cooks and AI-guided vacuum cleaners. Legal immigrants are here and are going to have more freedom in working towards and choosing jobs that they don't risk be deported if they're caught. An illegal isn't going to take a job as a doctor or lawyer or police officer or teacher or any other higher-profile career because they will draw attention to their own illegal status. That's why they take the low-level crap jobs: The risk of notice is far lower. Yes, there's probably competition for these crap jobs, but for illegals there aren't any other jobs for them to work.
The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

The Weighted Companion Cube is cheating on you, that slut.

No. If we have a law, we should enforce it or change it. Until we change the law, I think we should enforce it's terms.

Which is an extremely high bar relative.

Again. The reason illegal immigrant wages are so low is beause illegal immigration makes it so.
