No, most people would just say you are full of **** and leave it at that. There has been no compelling proof it was a fake and lots of proof it has been real. Maybe it is and maybe it isn't but right now it sure looks like it is. Why don't you spend your time claiming OJ didn't cut up his ex-wife and her boyfriend? That would be just as valid.

And I'll pre-empt your "ZOMGGF DailyKos " with a "ZOMGBH Weekly Standard. "
The Dail Kos tried to argue that the Rather memos were legit in a point by point defense of the typography and had their lunch handed to them. Bad science...

This has nothing to do with the Rather memo. Or analysis. It's just a bunch of quotes and links. DailyKos is a Democratic community that has thousands of people, some competent some not. You have to discriminate between the people there. Just like in Apolyton.

In the article they talked about how one of the suspicious things about the memo is that many of the talking points are taken word for word from the website of the Traditional Values Coalition. Thanks you (and Kos) for providing some supporting evidence.

Ok, so conservatives and conservative orgs have the same talking points, including one with identical language. This is supposed to be evidence that the memo was a forgery.

Is this supposed to be a parody of an argument?

Several points with identical language to those found on the website of the Traditional Values Coalition. You don't find it suspicious that the "memo" consisted solely of plagarized talking points combined with a few outrageous comments that wouldn't be included in an actual talking points memo?

Of course you don't. You're a hack and will defend this to the grave, along with the rest of the Kossacks...

Drake finds it suspicious that a conservative org literally parrots GOP talking points.

The point is that the memo plagarizes the conservative organization's talking points. The memo was copied word-for-word from the Traditonal Values Coalition, not the other way around.

I don't see why any of the sources used for the article are dubious. You don't trust the New York Times?

Oh, so now that Repugs failed to make any real political gains with thier grandstanding, had the courts basically ignore them, and now have the real whackos baiming them as ineffectual the Weekly Moron (oh, wait, that was Standard..) puts out a piece saying the Memo was forged, thought of course NOT A SINGLE CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICAN EVER STATED THAT THE MEMO WAS A FAKE. Yes, when the news of a memo came out, republican leaders disowned it...but not one of them claimed their side had not produced it at all.

So are republicans either so stupid as to not kow when the other side gives them memos that will hurt them, or is ther weekly standard so useless as to try to spin away the mistake?

Wow, what a wonderful choice- either rightwingers are imbeciles, or liars. I like it.

                                Oof.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
