Yeah but US alcohol laws are insane (especially Blue Laws). I really like being able to buy alcohol 24/7 and being able to have a beer or two on a long boring train/bus trip...

But we have separation of church and state where no laws establishing religion exist

actualy I dare you to try to lower the drinking age in my state. I'm certain it can't happen. It conveniently coincides with the gambling age. So there is no way they would lower it.
