The initial police report said that Terri's condition was a result of foul play. She had a broken back and a broken femur. Hannity tried to get a copy of the police reports at the time, but was denied by the police without comment.

Now it comes out that Michael and Terri argued a lot and had a major argument the day before her event. She said to a co-worker/friend that she was contemplating divorce. The next day, Terri is found near death with a broken back and a broken femur.

Im courious as to why everyone that has compassion and sympathy ary rated as political nut jobs but those that have none of these qualties are not go figure

Two other people corraborated his testimony. The mother's testinmony is about an incident that took place twelve years before the disucssions Terri had with husband and in-laws.

According to Terri's mother, when hearing of the Karen Ann Quinlan, Terri said that she disagreed with taking people off of artificial life support. That case occured from 1975 to 1976, which would be when that discussion would have had to have occured, according to the words Terri's mother used. That would be when she was 13, as oppssed to a 24 year-old woman who witnessed what her husband's family went through. Only a fool would think that an adult woman would necessarily have the same views that she had as a child.

Also consider that Michael has a new "wife" and two bastards, all of whom would want to be legitimatized if they are normal people. I think this places him in an adverse position concerning the continue existence of Terri.

I would like to see some common sense, sympathy and compassion extended to Terri. If she were a horse someone would have ended her misery over 14 years ago.

Ned brought up that if a person were convicted and sentenced to die without adequate counsel, that it would be quickly overturned by higher courts. I refuted him. The Supreme Court decision about this was written by Scalia (don't remember the case), where he declared that the Constitution only gives us the right to counel, not competent counsel. I remember being flabberghasted by it.

Quinlan died in the 80s. When was the discussion alleged to take place? And I think this whole tea-leaf reading thing (either pro or con) is kinda silly. I would trust a living will much more.

Because we know better than to believe what a politician says. Any politician who says they are compasionate as they vote to cut veterans benefits and the right to decalre bankruptcy is either thoroughly insane, stupid, or deceitful, and possibly all three.
