I was going to go into a spiel about gun control, but it appears 1 of the weaons used was his grandfather's police issue handgun. But now the news is saying 3 weapons may have been used. So it is possible one of them was a legally purchased gun.
Personally I think all handguns should be illegal. It's funny we can outlaw sawed off shotguns, but not handguns. I don't get it.
Yes I hear all the time about the black market. But the fact remains that most weapons used in crimes have been legally purchased at one time. While it is true most people who purchase guns don't committ crimes, the problem is when they sell these guns to pawnshops, or just sell them to a neighbor or buddy. The guns eventually find their way into the wrong hands.Comment

how did I get pwnd? Police officers would still carry handguns even if we did ban handguns. We can't turn the U.S. into some pansy nation like England where the police don't carry guns.
