well, in the purposes of this thread, if you consider the worth of something in currency, the meaning of that is the amount of the currency needed to aquire ownership of that, or to be more precise, the amount of currency that would be a fair compensation, AFAIU.

I don't see the possibility of any individual, organization, state etc.. having so much currency, or capital of equal value on hand. Hell, even if an alien mogul would arrive and desire to aquire europe, I don't see what exactly could he trade for it. Plus, the price of europe would rise steeply in such an occasion.

By comparison, Finland has exactly as many MEPs for half the population. And Finland is definitely far from being the most overrepresented population at the EP: Malta has 5 MEPs for 400,000 inhabs, making each Maltese worth as much as 10 Parisians.
