Also, Schiavo disclosed that only $50,000 remains of the $750,000, so it's not as if he's sitting on a huge inheritance that he's trying to protect by axing his wife.
Well if you won't even give the Weekly Standard a look, there's no use talking to you. You're just going to brush off any evidence to the contrary of your opinion...

No thats not at all what I said, I said if his parents and family thought he had a chance I would no way stand in their way and hopes. Believe me The decesion would be hard and one that i wouldnt want to make. But Who am I to take the life of the person a mother brought into this world. Though it doesnt sound like it im kinda neutral in this matter, I stated if you want to remove the tube by all means but dont let the woman lay there and starve to death.

The only efforts ever undertaken to improve Terri's condition took place in 1990 and 1991. They had ceased by the time of the malpractice trial in 1992 because her insurance coverage had run out.
Where's the discrepancy?

Pros of keeping alive
-Parents get to sit in room with vegetable
Pros of mercy death
-Wish is met
-Hospital resources are able to do more important things
-Taxpayers don't have to pay
-Closure for everyone
-According to christians (the majority of her defenders) she goes to heaven
After mercy death, her parents will eventually realize they were just stuck on the first stage of loss, denial, and will think it was the right decision.
Most of you guys forget I am a nurse and have seen this in the nursing homes I worked in I dare not judge a family on their decesions

Man, I trust Michael Schiavo about as far as I can throw him. How can you guys be so naive?
Naive? Because we trust the legal process, two court decisions, and the findings of court-appointed experts? As opposed to fundie whackjob parents who went doctor shopping?
