Thank god. That's the worst thing about US football. I think I'd enjoy it if they just had breaks after each quarter or whatever.
When they have live games here (even on Sky) more than half the times the US footage cuts for ad breaks they cut to the studio for a bit more analysis instead. It's unbelievable how many ads you get.Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth

Really? That's odd. Because the US coverage didn't even think of having cut-away ads. The advertising they had was like "This portion of the game brought to you by Nike".
I think I'd enjoy it if they just had breaks after each quarter or whatever.
How are you supposed to make a leisurely walk to the fridge for more provisions if the next break isn't until 30 minutes later?
Then again, I do watch soccer games on Fox Sports World (now Fox Soccer Channel)... I just end up missing part of the game for snacks... the WORST is when I want a soda and I miss a goal

If I'm on a commercial channel I just switch over to the BBC when they come on.
And I'm sure that people like you spend a lot of time making sure that even if you ignore the commercials they are still having an impact.
