    YES

I would actually say I am very happy today and pretty happy in the general case.

I actually think that being happy is my default setting and something must happen to take me off of that

        Re: are you happy?

I'm quite happy, yes. I'd be happier with some money, but it's hard not to be happy living in Ft. Lauderdale. Even the bums seem happier here.

Happier than I've been for quite awhile.

I have work, and just got back from a great night visiting friends of mine.

We ended up singing a cappella the whole evening, which I've missed. Denise showed up too, and we had a blast. I've been so worried about her lately, and her coming was an answer to a prayer.

I still think about suicide. So the answer would be no. .

but my mood changes. At times I can be almost happy. I'd call it content.

I quit my job, and it's amazing just how happy that has made me.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I am fine and dandy at the moment Despite the cashflow problem which I mentioned in another thread (which is a relatively minor problem all in all which will be resolved by the end of the week), things are going well. Permanent job with all the bells and whistles has been offered, negotiating a pay rise to go with it and I am looking at moving to a much nicer place in the near future

                  Not bad eh?

eternal optimist me - i just dont seem to be able to be sad, no matter what. Not that my life is always full of happy skipping bunies etc.

In fact maybe that is the sad part of my life - always being positive.......i'd love to feel really sad sometimes.

Even when my childhood dog died, i wasn't that cut up - i knew she'd be off to some doggy valhalla - hunting rabbits for all eternity, and i'd meet up with her again one day, we'd go hunting together again.

See i just cant be really sad, i always seem able to see the bright side of everything
