    DO THE POLL!

Imran: Great pic, needs to change the sig. If you don't know it's Arafat, you ain't qualified for the OT.

Agathon: Take that velvet painting of Jesus in your grandmother's trailer, replace with Che Guevara as drawn by Warner Sallman. Voila!

Chegitz: Surely there are better ways you can express your Redness, isn't there? Where's that vomit smilie when you need it?

Pekka: Nice thing about Pekka's avatar is that it has always been Pekka's avatar. You don't need to read the name to know who is speaking.

    Emperor Fabulous: An Apolyton Classic.

Ben Kenobi: Ben, Ben... what are we gonna do about you?

Kuciwalker: Another Apolyton Classic. Or so I'm told.

Monkspider: This is a solid avatar, one that will occasionally draw a snicker out of you. Good job!

Ming: I liked the B&W Ming the Merciless better... this one is kind of fey. I mean the look it's giving, it's like your avatar is saying "Kiss me you fool!"

DinoDoc: What the hell is that!?

GePap: For some reason, it fits.

Saras: What can I give a person who has his kid(s) as their avatar other than a ?

Molly Bloom: Definitely distinctive, but at the risk of sounding like an uncultured red stater...

    ... I don't get it.

Obligatory banana response so I don't get the equally-obligatory "I'm not voting in a poll without a banana response" response.

Oerdin: Simple, clean, gets the message across. But you'll likely get interested in another cause and change your avatar, making us all have to think "Oh. That's Oerdin's new avatar. I was wondering what happened to him - I thought he left."

I still have this title as a holdover from the days when I was BD. I originally kept this so as to be recognizable to people who weren't aware of my name change. It's been years since that though, perhaps its time for a change of my avatar?

If you still think of your online self as "Black Dragon" then change your name back to "Black Dragon".

I change mine pretty much every day, but have a looksee. I'll probably keep this one for a few days.

                      Who's that?

Ben Kenobi: Ben, Ben... what are we gonna do about you?
His current avatar is part of their Mafia game in OG-forum.

Ming: I liked the B&W Ming the Merciless better... this one is kind of fey. I mean the look it's giving, it's like your avatar is saying "Kiss me you fool!"

It's a futuristic unit from Civilization: Call to Power. Molly hasn't spammed enough on-topic to reach Prince-status yet, you see.

Is this in reference to the santa BVM one that I had before?

                            Sorry, quoted the wrong thing.

I meant to quote JohnT's comment in the op.
