Given the money around both franchises, and the amount that they pump into both cities?However, I don't believe labour laws in Quebec or British Columbia permit replacement workers in this situtation at all, so the Montreal Canadiens and Vancouver Canucks still wouldn't be able to operate.

So it is down to this: The players have accepted a $52 Million cap. The owners want a $40 million cap. Neither side is budging... I guess we'll find out tomorrow if they were able to compromise.Comment
