Brottsförebyggande rådet published some statistics on gang rapes which concluded that ~3/4 (IIRC) of the rapists had immigrant background, mostly from the middle-east. As they are so overrepresented, it makes you wonder what role their muslim background may play.

And I seriously doubt that Islam as an religion has anything to do with gang rape. The legislation regarding rape is getting more strict. I don´t exactly know when it´s to be implemented. I think June 1:st or possibly not until 2006. But it will be more strict. And not a day to soon if you ask me.
