). I never liked Madden. Near the end of the game Madden suggested they should just run the clock out and play for overtime. Wrong answer. NE intead drove the ball down the field and won the game in regulation with a Vinatieri field goal.

Usually people say it the other way around. The complaint is the NFL is weak TODAY and back then you had the better teams (though I don't believe either).
