  • Probably Starr or Aikman 6th. Did Aikman win three or four Superbowls?

    • Aikman won 2, IIRC. One against Buffalo and one against Pittsburgh. Frankly I wouldn't have him higher than Fouts, Staubach, Anderson, and perhaps Namath. I think that team was just loaded on offense and the focus was the running game with Emmitt Smith, one of the top 5 RBs of all time.

I think Reid will play him if he thinks he will be of some value to the team. If he sees him limping and not able to make cuts... he probably won't play him.
He'll be effective in confusing the defense if they just throw him out there from time-to-time just to run routes.

Once. Maybe twice, but no more than that if he isn't running well.

          • TO isn't gonna matter that much. Westbrook is absolutely essential to Eagles success now, and if the Pats contain him, the Eagles have no chance.

Not a chance, NE will either win or lose in the final seconds, just like before.

              I predict , they lose.

              ACK!

              • The thing that concerns me is turnovers. The Eagles have scored quite a bit off of other teams turnovers. Several of their wins are due to a momentum shift capitalizing on a turnover. Problem is that NE does not turn the ball over that much.

                • NE doesn't fumble, and Brady is excellent about not throwing interceptions in the playoffs.

On the other side of the ball, they force all sorts of turnovers. Against the Colts, Bruschi just ripped the ball out of James's hands. And then there are Rodney Harrison interceptions...

                  • Just play the Pats like the Dolphins did in the second matchup between them

                      • While I think NE is going to win and win big, I note the last two Superbowls with NE in them were very close. Both went down to the final minute to be decided.

Philidelphia has been the best team in the NFC for years now. But they have always seemed to choke in the "big" game. I wonder why? McNabb? Has he reached the level where he can play well under a lot of pressure?

                        • The Eagles had injuries and flaws that were exposed in those big games. They still have some, but they have actually gotten better each year.
