    • I'm a very casual football fan who watches a handful of games/year, but it's cool nonetheless to have the Patriots doing so well lately. I will root for 'em, but not be particularly unhappy if they are to lose.

I figure it's about a 50/50 shot down in Pitt. This time they've got Corey Dillon healthy, and they played a very good game at home against the Colts. But it's still a tough game on the road. So a tossup.

I've no idea about the other game, but I wish Vick well. I remember watching his last game at Virginia Tech (and I never watch college football) when he nearly single-handedly hauled his team back into a game against a far superior team. He was just flat out electric.

      • I want an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl so the Eagles can beat the Steelers.

That's assuming he can even get out of the backfield and past Jeremiah Trotter, Ike Reese, and Jevon Kearse. McNabb and his boys will score enough for us to win the game.

          • I just checked our Lombardi site for an update on this week's line. What I found was that the standings for this year have been reset to all zeros. What gives?

            • In my view, NE is playing the best of any team right now. However, I also think that any of the remaining teams could win the Superbowl if they play a perfect game. Atlanta has definitely surprised me. Philly looks like a different team with McNab. Pitt has that great defense. Ditto New England. New England also has Brady, a clutch quarterback and the edge over all the other teams.

Ignore that - the valid scores are still available on the message board.

Updated results for the divisional playoffs will be posted tomorrow and the line for the conference championships will be posted Wednesday.

                • I'm not making predictions, but I think BOTH games will be very close. No more blowouts anymore.

I do like all the people who said they were 'surprised' by Atlanta . Y'all should just listen to me more .

                  • I wasn't suprised by Atlanta. i knew they could run.

Vick still can't pass, although he looed decent in this game.

                      • I'd rather have 1 TD passes and 4 INTs.

More importantly, he was 12 of 16.

Only 82 yards, but I guess he did play pretty good against a .500 team.

                          • A .500 team which everyone was saying was going to knock off the Falcons. And he only threw for that few yards because he didn't have to throw for more. Why throw when you are running so damned well?

                            • NEW ENGLAND! HA!

Peyton Peyton Peyton Peyton Peyton blah blah blah. Him and his wussy offense were all we could hear about for a week. Thank you, Bellicheck, for putting together a game plan that utterly mastered, manipulated, and manhandled the Colts' defense. The mix of pass and rush kept them off-guard, and ate up the clock. It was a fun game to watch...

                              • Manhandled the Colts DEFENSE? The Defense actually did not play very badly and, quite frankly, dominated the Patriots' Offense in the 1st half of the game.

I didn't see any manhandling of defenses.
