  • Hmm...I thought instant replay was supposed to correct mistakes, not create them.

Pitt might get back in this, impressive. Looked to me like their offense was just going to keep adding to NE's point total

    • create them?

      it was an incomplete pass.

      • As long as you have possession, the ball can touch the ground. He had possession before and after hitting the ground.

        • are you referring to the ball jumbling about in his hands and arms?

          • I saw the ball move but I never saw it loose, not even a millisecond

            • Well, no matter how wrong the "experts" were all season, and especially in the playoffs, most of them predicted the Super Bowl teams before the season. Bring on Philadelphia!

I can't remember what I predicted at the beginning of the season, I wonder where that thread is...

                  • Is anyone brave (or foolhardy) enough to seriously pick Philly to win the Super Bowl?

                        • Hooray, another odd-numbered Super Bowl with teams I don't give a **** about!

Christ, the only thing that could have been worse would be a Broncos-Eagles Super Bowl.

Is there any way the NFL could organize a 3rd-place game to happen at the same time so I don't have to watch this Super Bowl?

                          • Darn, I was hoping for some close, competitve games today. Instead we get two ass whoopings. Eh.

                            • Anyone know the line? I think it should be New England by 6.5.

BTW, I picked New England to win it all in the Lombardi contest.

                              • Congrats Philly! You played well. But now you got your hands full in a team that looks like a freaking steamroller. Hopefully you can stop them!

Oh, and congrats Atlanta on a HELL of a season. We never thought you'd get this far. The city of Atlanta is looking forward to your future success . I especially liked that drive late in the 1st half where the TD was scored on and am salvating a time where Vick does that with consistency.

That would be fun. I'd really enjoy having a 3rd place game next Sunday and then the Superbowl the Sunday after that. But, I guess the Conference Championship losers wouldn't really have their heart in another game.
