What about Desi's girlfriend? In an earlier episode she got a message about the explosion of the magnetic anomaly from an outpost in Anartica (or was the Artic), so when is she going to show up?

She took the money from her father even though she knew he would force Jin to do his dirty work. Then, when Jin's horrific job caused trouble in their marriage, she went off and slept with another man. Her justification for all this was that she was saving Jin from public embarassment, which may be a valid reason in the completely insane land of Korea, but it doesn't really wash with a Western audience...

And, given that Sun is a smokin' 12 out of 10, I'd forgive her anything. The LL doesn't watch Lost, but she was watching with me last night, and wondered aloud, "She is absolutely gorgeous."



Anyway, I'm a bit puzzled about the island's healing powers. If things really do heal faster... why is Patchy Patchy? (They dodged that question by making Ben's tumor benign, but still...) Unless Mikhail is using the eyepatch in the old pirate way to increase his nightvision... it could also be a ruse like Tom's beard, but he was wearing it when visited by Ben and Juliet as well.

Really? She's definitely hot, don't get me wrong, but her nose really turns me off. Asymmetric and a little upturned...

He might have lost his eye before he came to the island and I'm not sure the island's power is sufficient to regrow a long-gone part of the body.
