Even with healing powers, no reason why his eye would go back. There's a difference between healing and regrowing body parts. While it seems that the island greatly facilitates the healing of regular wounds and illnesses, I'm sure one's hand wouldn't regrow there if chopped off... ditto with an eye.

It seemed to heal Locke's spinal cord just fine, and (allegedly) destroyed Rose's cancer. An eye isn't that big a stretch.

Wonder how they'll cover his survival of the Smokey Defense System. On the one hand, I'm glad he's back, because he seems like a real interesting character. On the other hand, characters returning from the dead =

1. that dharma or others moved pieces of the plane out to sea

2. another plane was used as ocean debris

3. that 815 was found, but due to desmond jumping in time, there are multiple flight 815s

Ahhh, I was going to ask about that. I hope whoever was with her wasn't in that chopper.

IMO, he faked it. Remember when Juliet scared Smokey away with the fence? Juliet and Kate actually ran *through* the fence, then Juliet entered a keycode to turn it on.

Mikhail could have faked his own death by having a tablet in his mouth that would emit foam. Although admittedly ear bleeding is a bit problematic.

Are we sure he actually died? I seriously thought he faked his death when I first saw it; something about it just didn't seem right.

I would do awfully naughty things with that woman. Don't expect me to believe you wouldn't do the same, just because her nose is a little upturned.

I just hope that they don't go with some corny plot where they are all really dead on the island, but don't know it yet.

That was my initial fear as well. Especially remembering how juliet drank some sort of "sedative" (deadly poison?) to get to the island.

I think the show would go drastically downhill if this is what the writers have in mind.

Regrowing everything would be a little crazy. For example, wisdom teeth. Some people need to get them out to have very severe mouth problems. You can't really have an island fix the problem of regrowth teeth and fix the problem they cause of making teeth they burrow into better also.

Why do you think they found the plane? IIRC Desmond's girlfriend was informed of the location of the island by a scientist in Antartica who spotted the magnetic anomaly when it blew up. The question is, how did she know to look for the magnetic anomaly? Is her daddy mixed up with Ben or Dharma, or maybe he told her to look for it during one of his time jumping episodes?

but they can't really find the plane because almost all of it seems to be on the beach of this magic island

I'm still confused about the dead guy coming back to life. Why haven't all the dead people come back to life or did he not really die? Either way the story line is going down hill fast.
