    Egypt to Carthage:
What joint strike? We did a solo defense. If you're offering us assistance, though, we'd gladly take anything you can give us. That goes for money, trade, troops, technology, even political influence in our favor with the Macedonian Government, whatever.

OOC: Oh, that's where the Indian Aliens came from... That makes sense now.

OOC: Nuclear, quit posting as Egypt. It's obnoxious.

Micha, please have the Carthagian messenger executed and mail his head back to Carthage (Fourth class). Don't put it on a stick, Carthage can provide its own stick. Bastards.

    IC: Egypt to Macedonia:
We'd like to begin the paper for fish trade route. We propose 5 talents\turn paper, and 5 talents\turn fish. This should keep our bookkeeping nice and simple.

Egypt to Rome: In the manner of our deal with Macedonia, why don't we say 8 talents\turn of iron, and 8 talents\turn grain? Similarly, how about 4 talents\turn fabric for 4 talents\turn paper? Makes everyone's income nice and consistant.

    Egyptian Budget (Incomplete):
15 talents to the institution of a police and court system to help combat piracy and corruption in Egypt.
15 talents to build an infrastructure system in Egypt to help improve productivity.
20 talents for horsemen, to be added to the Pharaoh's army.
14 talents for swordsmen, to be added to the Pharaoh's army.
10 talents war chariots, to be added to Pharaoh's army.

    Macedonia to Athens :

We will give you 20 talents. This is fair.

    Macedonia to Rome :

We are deeply insulted by your condemnation of us, especially considering our efforts to help you. For the sake of friendship, we will attribute your rashness to the heat of anger, and we hope you will soon realize your misjudgement and we can put this behind us.

    Macedonia to Egypt

yes we'd like to buy paper. We can offer you wine or fish (or both if you can pay cash) We will contact you later about military matters

    to Lydia:

We note you are lacking in adequate supplies of wine and fish, of which we have abundant quantities. Would you be interested in purchasing either of these ( probably not both)

    to Persia:

We wish to purchase copper for 6 talents/turn. furs for 5 talents/turn. Spices 10 talents/turn.

Egypt to Carthage: Ya know, just cause you attacked me (and were repelled) doesn't mean you can send messages from Egypt...

Evil backstabbers! Pillagers and desecraters of the sacred! Consider our alliance terminated, and I hope your people revolt against your sacreligious ways!

Egypt to Rome: We are extremely interested in the export of grain and paper to you. Your offer of iron and fabric in exchange will be acceptable. You must come to Tanys to deal, we would very much like to send our ships to Rome to see the great city, but we have no ships to send. Please, come to Tanys to begin trade.

Egypt to Macedonia: We have noted that you have very little in terms of edibles; would you be interested in puchasing our grain now? We're open to offers of what you'd like to trade in return. We'd also like to point out that Macedonia has no source of paper, and the only other source of paper in the world is Carthage, who've proved themselves filthy backstabbing temple-desecraters. Paper would help increase your government's effeciency, and would surely help the renowned philosophers in Athens record their work for posterity.

We also appreciate your verbal support of us against Carthage; would it be possible for you to increase that to actual military or financial support? Anything will be appreciated, greater help gaining greater thanks. We suggest you consider a charitable donation to the Rebuild Egypt Fund, a charitable organization founded by Morgan Freeman in an effort to rebuild Egypt. We can assure you (and the pacifists among both our nations) that your donations will not go to military causes. We also remind you that your direct support of Egypt in the face of this religious atrocity might even improve your people's support of you.

    Egypt to Persia:
We has also noticed a lack of a paper source among your domains. To you we'd like to propose a special deal: Paper for military protection. Agreed?

Egyptian Orders: Secret police are to hype up the recent victory against Carthage (I know it's really kind of a stalemate, but since Carthage was driven out, play it up as a victory to the people). The Pharoah is to make inspirational speeches citing the recent atrocities of Carthage, and generally spread pro-Pharaoh information about the event. Pharaoh is to decorate the general presiding over the battle for his military prowess in an effort to whip up military pride in serving in his army. Pharaoh is also to emphasize that Egypt wants peace, but that as long as violent agressive nations like Carthage are around, that may not be possible. Pharaoh will also commend the efforts of those not in the military, who've begun the rebuilding of Egypt's fertile Nile Delta.

OOC: Micha, awesome update! The resources are cool!
