These changes are for my "Roman Empire" scenario.

The scenario will cover the whole history of the Roman Empire from 228Ad to 1453Ad.

Next week i will post several normal gameplay screenshots.

                Yes they are.

It is just that Coreldraw10 shows the civ2 pallete distorted.

The new graphics look good. Just for curiousity, would it be possible to match the cities of Parthia/Persia to the land terrain?

A much darker terrian i think would really make the land shine.

Our the Persian cities from Stefan Hartel?

                        • Reffering to your post where you are writing that you seek a potential co-designer i would offer myself to help you. Although i am not very good in drawing/painting units, citys or other graphics i could help you to create events, place units citys and last but not least testing the map.
There is also another thing ...
You have writed that you don't want shore bombardemenst. You can simply prevent ships from bombarding shore by giving them the "U-Boat ability"
Also the map seems to be rather small perhaps it would be better to use a larger one.

good luck and may the force be with you

                            • Bugs
                              - Praetorians change to Limitanii ( think this shouldn't be)
                              - tech tree isn't ready
                              - In the second part of the scenario I was able to build the Hanging Gardens, King Richard's Crusade and Collossus
I would rename them and place them in some citys
                              - Germans and Franks only show a low agressivity. Most of their units are moving and moving and moving ...

I suggest also to place Budapest one square to the southwest in and to place a city in Dacia
                              (for example Porolissum)

you can find good icons for the wonders and/or city improvements in Berns Brosings Imperium Romanum scn. if you want i can post them or send them to you per e-mail
