Johan will be doing weekly features on Revolution, here's the first one: http://www.europa-universalis.com/fo...0&page=1&pp=25

I must say I had given up on Victoria after the last patch, but this gives me reason to take another look. The way they've been reworking colonisation looks very nice. I really hope they've been reworking the manpower and migration as well though, which are my biggest bones of contention at the moment.

As will I, if VPLtd. ports it. They likely will. I believe the Paradox titles have provided them steady mint over the years. I really enjoy my Victoria games.

Feature on new economic system: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/...d.php?t=251890

Looks very interesting, economic development will now take place via actual private initiative, unless you're planned economy.

                Interesting.

I'm still trying to master Victoria lately. Getting better but a long way to go.

I'll prolly consider this in a few years tho.

A few years? Why the hurry?

Did they simplify trade a bit?

I quite enjoyed Vicky 1.0 but they quickly patched all the fun out of it and turned it into micromanagement hell. Revolutions will have to change gameplay significantly before I'll consider buying it. Download-only isn't attractive either.

You can now buy a CD for the same price(9.99USD/euro) plus shipping. From what I've seen so far from the dev diaries(still one new per week btw, I recommend you to check them out ), there will be less MM hell.

Simplifying things is not in their book.

While I'm glad to hear this it'll still prevent me from being able to get a copy if the only way to buy it is by giving out a credit card # online.
This is something I absolutely will not do.
