and to conclude my posts for the day... about my charachter... from memeory as I havent played for a couple of days now (due to me trying to sort out "simple" networking problem between my two PC's at home - MSFT and options not working as advertised )

    but still...

( or did I already post this before) nevermind

Nordic Pilgrim born in Steed sigh.
Member of Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, naturally Blades and XYZ Ashlander triibe.

    Lever 27 ~ or so.
100 in Speed, 97 Strenghth with all other skills above 40 some 70 etc...

Wearing boots of Michael Schumacher speed.... and having enchanted Indoril Armor for most part with Umbra sword the current weapon of choice.

My short sword skill is at 100, long sword in 60's medium armor in 90's.

I enchanted a indoril shield for 45 sec levitation effect at 10.
Indoril cuirass 18 sec invisibility on self. Helm for 50 fortify intelligence.

Normally I wear another helm of some XY?? Saint that gives me 30+ in fortify personality.

Apart from this I specialised in enchanted amulets and rings as these are always good when you are annoyed with a keen bunch that are looking forward to kill you.

So as a Nordic pilgrim (or only nord??? ) I have a 100% resistance to frost. And therefore if I knew when I started I'd name myself Dr Rufus Frost. However my name is only Rufus...

Obviously my strongest/baddest weapons are three frost amulets. One takes 100 points hit on touch in 2 feet. The other one does 100 pts on 50 ft for 2 sec. And that is a deadly bugger as many unsuspecting folk can die frozen with me even not knowing somewhere behind the corners, making my bounty go up. Thus this one is used with extreme caution an in zillion of enemies nearby situations only.
The third one is 100 pts for 3 sec in 7 ft. Now that would kill a horse as they say... or much more than that indeed.

So these are my last option devices used in just extreme cases - like that Umbra sword holder taht was the toughest opponent sofar. And my special weapon had to be drawn to send him to the other world as he wished. Or naturally a pleasure to use on the "goldmine" ordinators that I never liked from the beginning and whose armor I use to fill the warehouse of my dear friend Mr Creeper that he pays me well for.

And that is now and I carry around lots of useless things just because I like to. The old enchanted dwemer jinksword. A mighty weapon that helped me all trough the beginning stages of my quest. Freeze or actually paralyse the bugger and than slay him was my not so honest tactic, but hey... they attacked me first sooo... I keep it for the good memory. And for the same sentimental reasons I keep XYZ saints sword - that as a healing enchantment on... but it is a kick ass short sword that was my second weapon of choice. The ebony shortsword I used to carry around for a long time but was only my third weapon of choice which I sold as I managed to break the sentimental bonds between us and it sits now happily in Mr Creeper's possesion.

Other than that I have lots of other amulets, rings, robes, shirts and pants, of which 100 pts opening ring comes to mind, 30 sec 10 pts stained levitate pants, healing 45-60 pts robe, restore magicka ring... and a few other perhaps not so interesting possesions that I cannot remember right now.

If I get lucky I might just give it another go tonight

that might be a problem than, probaly pick-pocketing would be the best than. Quick save before the action and than reload if you fail ... what else?

I raised it to level 74 by reading a bunch of skill books that gave boosts to major/minor skills that were already at 100. Apparently if you somehow manage to "raise" a skill that's at 100 then you still get level-up credit for it. (It isn't exactly necessary to raise your level once you're at level 73, but hey...)

it was my main armor so I was suppose to be waring it, I just took it off to carry something from point A to point B and forgot to go bakc for it

I have 3 houses (at least) I can use

2 of them because I killed everyone (legally) inside

1 because the person whose house it is likes me so much she offered her house for my use (including whatever is in the basement)

            The houses are in:

Guar Marg (I have my Alchemy stuf ehre)

Seyn Nedra (I keep my extra sets of armor here)

Petragaurd (I keep my books and extra clothes here)

BTW, I recently got the Lord's Mail, so that is my current most expensive item

              I like cult advancement

they give you nice amulets (can you sell them without worring about selling something you shouldn't?)

BTW, tbhe issue that has been stated (completeing quests before they are given to you) is the reason why I don't go anywhere I have not been asked to...

I am an Oracle in the cult now (woohoo)

Whooo... so many things to doo... well i just don't care much, it didn't stop me or bother me too much so far for all those random loots that I have done. perhaps i will get stuck sooner or later. But I don't care. If i fancy a run in somewhere I do it... well I find it fun.

                And what is Lord's Mall?

Umbra Sword is my most expensive item.

Lord's Mail is a unique item

                  is worth 190000

ask arround about it (I first learned about it at level 5 or 6 or something..)

                      oops quoted myself

uuuh 190000 my sword is 110k

ah, it is not just killing baddies, it is more like testing new weapons/ skills / enchantments and see what do they have inside.

But I am just thinking about a mod.

I have not built my stronghold, but what does it consist of?

What if you could do a custom quest to build your Armor and weaponery Museum?

It could be an imperial cult thing and the shape of the building woulk have to be something that already exists (or create a new one if it is not too hard). - that Ad Ruhn ancient crab shell looks quite good for such a project.

So if you would have this building somewhere - or even better if you could build it, and than have a set place to fill in various weapons. And perhaps you could have slots for each type -- etc, and when you get let say 75% of all weapons/ armor with one worth more than 100k you get some special bonus skill points or similar . not that I have enough time to actually properly try it but it sounds good to me.

Perhaps you could employ a few people to be your guards, and that could be lead by one of the cult leaders or something on these lines. He could award you for getting the collection and you could still have the permission to use 1or 2 items from the collection when you need it.

but I don't care what they have inside unless that is where I am being sent

I do it all for teh quest

                        that seems interestind

(when you guys refer to stronghold I think you are refering to somthing differen than just the place wher eyou keep your stuff, what are you refering to?)

Do people play heavily modded games? I play not quite vanilla, but I do only add stuff that Bethesda makes (like the adamant armor))

                        question, does money reset?

I noticed once that when I had trained from a person I could barter from that I could than get the money all back when I sold him stuff later

is this always the case (in otherwords the girl I gave 2000 dollars to will have her normal ammount + 2000 dollars when I want to sell stuff to her...)?

I have discovered that now I spend as much time looking for people who have the money to buy my stuff as I do doing quests (to get items turned into money I have to do many trades (expensive items for less expensive items + cash, and so on until it is all cash))

also I noticed that when the shop keeper does not like you the starting place for bartering is worse for you, but also when he is 90+ for you it is lower also (than at 80 or 70)

Where is the best point to sell to get he max from your goods

How to get money, quickly - a on-time only tutorial.

                          1. Talk to Ahnassi. Do what she wants enough to get told about the flamemirror robe.
                          2. Aquire the flamemirror robe. For non-thieves, Caius's equipment is helpful.
                          3. Give robe to Ahnassi.
                          4. Sell the 20 Ebony throwing stars, worth 2000 apiece, to creeper.

I'm now rolling in it. What do people recommend for enchantments, in order of priority? Bear in mind I'm a dark elf, so Fire resist in particular is not necessary. I also have two Golden Saint scrolls, and some grand gems, so strictly speaking I have the ability to make Constant effect, twice.

Incidentally, Once your mercantile skill gets to a certain level, creeper will buy from you at above market price, and sell at below. Good to know for a cheap profit. I reckon I can make at least 40 apiece on re-buying and re-selling those stars, and my skill isn't even that high.

I nearly have Beothiath's sword as well. I found his shrine no problem, it's marked on the map like a shipwreck. It took me a while to work out which bit to speak to though... Anyway, the sculptor is working, and should be done in a couple of weeks. Next up, in order of rotation, clockwise, are: a few Redoran quests, the last shrine (from whence I'll start temple quests), some imperial quests, a contract in a hide-out north of Maar Gan, giving the Ashlander woman the lost prophesies, Azura's quest, any quests in Sadrith Mora, an Imperial quest in Erabenimsun camp, the reward for Azura's quest, Ajira's quest about the staff, Ahnassi's quest regarding the glove, and (once I've worked out which part of Ebonheart is the castle, with the imperial guard in it as opposed to the Legion), the Lord's Mail.

I also wonder if I know have enough information to answer Trebonius about the disappearance of the dwarves - but then again, it can't be that easy.

Go ahead and sell them, they won't mind.

There's not too much reason to worry about that, especially if you're not doing Morag Tong quests (Morag Tong get upset if you assassinate somebody before they've given you your writ, so it's best to do them early). It's usually pretty easy to tell if an item is unique or not, and besides, if you're selling all of your expensive items to the Creeper anyway then you'll know where to go looking for quest items that you may have accidentally located already.
