Ken, are you sure you don't live in central Europe? You guys have to be in the same time zone. You're making moves left and right. This is great!

Thanks, Smash. I was leaving the Hybrid Descriptive as an aid to Julius since his way still told me what I needed to know and avoided some of the abiguities of the normal descriptive notation.

kcbob, I don't live in Central Europe anymore. Lived in Lower Saxony for 4 years however. The reason for the relative fast replies is that Information Systems never sleeps. We are always watching everbody.

                          Julius,

Now we enter uncharted territory. You skipped the 13th move of the script and went straight to move 14 so we have come to the end of the line in the opening.

For Smash and kcbob this game with 13th move included was played by Tischbierek and Reefschäger, 1994 in Germany. What the rest of the moves were or how it turned out I don't know and it didn't figure in my choice of openings since at some point we all have to play our own games anyway. The evaluation of the position after White's move 14 was that positionally White had a very slight advantage, but that Black had the overall tactical advantage due to ease with which White can error and lose that advantage or even the game as Karpov did.

                          Ken

What's that ??? I've been setup ! The guy says he hasn't played serious chess at all for 100 years and he puts in some 1994 game with unknown german players. The "K" in Ken stands for Kasparov, is that right.
I've been out of personnal knowldege since move 2 and out of book since move 5. I'm glad to know my moves were as good as those of Tischbierek (à vos souhaits).
