  • 1. I am not an officer on this ship, hence my wage is not in relation with my rank. I am a civilian.
True. You are even higher in stature, emphasising my point. Or are you saying that a simple crewman would have more holidays and wage than a senator?

I haven't had any means of control on the ship. The control of the ship was passed according to the hierarchy (and it may even fall down to you if you continue killing officiers like that), and I haven't any say about it, simply because these military affairs are out of my juridiction.
This point was, as I said, far-fetched and I don't see it as an integral part of my argument. Even if you could get control of the ship, it'd be rather meaningless since it has no bearings on whether or not you can off people. Perhaps you just picked the officers on random.

    3. I am a member of the Earth senate, and as such, the HongHu empire would have never trusted me such a potent (and potentially destructive) technology. Even if I had been envoyed to HongHu, I would have been monitored in this regard. And my middle-aged self is much easier to monitor than a young intrepidic shuttle pilot
But to become a senator, one usually has connections. More often than not, suspicious connections. Of course the HongHu Empire didn't actually give it to you, my gift implication was a simple suggestion. HongHu would've probably recalled an Earth senator getting such technology, anyway.

Nor would it be a point of monitoring the individual, since you'd be sitting in your office while whoever it is you've hired is fetching you the goods. Slipping in a shuttle just like that, however, I figure would be rather complicated.

    • you missed some clues in the stories
Ooh, gotta read the first thread again, I usually just skimmed the stories themselves.

would have been interesting to see what you made of the clues people "ate"
I believe neither I or Spiffor have posted any clues, so the possibility of either of us withholding an incriminating one is the same.

      • I don't think Jam was trying to implicate you there. He was saying he would have been entertained from your analysis of all the clues if whoever got them bothered to post them.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

        • Good attempt at an analysis Kassi, but your track record in reaching correct conclusions is dismal. So heaven help the Ass Aployton if you're in the last three, unless you a) obtain remarkable insight or b) are the Mafia yourself, in which case heaven help the Ass Apolyton.

          • Hercules, this is the second time I've perused the clues to a length. Hardly a "track record".

The last time the clues weren't really pointing to anyone in particular the same way they are here, so I went with actual voting behaviour instead of the clues. Plus I had a lucky streak going. But that was a huge mistake. This time, I'm certain.

            • Spiffor is already so aged that the doctors have given him only a couple of hours more to live. It's not such a big deal if he dies an hour or two earlier. He would have died soon anyway.

I don't think the clues are pointing anywhere. Not then, not now, not ever while Jamski is cooking.

                • I'm getting tired of the same old people making it to the end.

                  This will change next game!

What would be the point of that?

                            • I cannot claim to have solved this mystery. But then last time mine and Vlad's lives depended on me choosing correctly, so I had a little incentive.
