I never understood that myself. Of course gameplay matters, but graphics add incredible levels of enjoyment.
And no matter how great a game becomes due to gameplay, it can only be improved that much more with proper graphics to marry the gameplay.

I wonder how that will apply to Pirates 2. Technically of course it's a sequel, but it's been so long (and technology has advanced so far) since the last game that is practically a brand new game.

Civ2 comes to mind.he doesn't really seem to care when he does sequals.
As for the next game, they should try something new. It would be interesting to see what they come up with.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.
