I just can't get through the top 2 players even with 100k wizzies now grrrr. I'm starting to specialise in infantry, aslong as im not raped and i can get to the damn present age to double their attack I think i'll be able to break through

Urgh why didnt i figure this out earlier.
Utility spells :
wizards/towers
so all you need to do is raze your towers until theres just enough left to support all your wizards
Ratio becomes 1/1 therefore 100% success duuh
well so it seems, i failed 7 times to advance with my wizzies, did this and succeded first time.
I still couldnt break through #4 urgh well atleast hes going to be stretched to breaking soon trying to cover all possibilities.

Well #4 definately has over 2mill infantry thats for sure, i cant break him even with 2.5mill at 95% health. Using 170k wizzies still can't spy on him either, your turn with some other form of attack now i guess. Somebody continue attacks on #21 aswell please, i cant hit him anymore since im independant and hes in protection.
And cool tree of gold makes 10mill per cast for me, and my wizzies aint even filled all buildings yet! if im intact 2moro i think 500 turns casting this might be fun

Well #4 built up like a fortress - I can't break through or look in on himSo, with lack of any better target(s), I started eating away at the clan "S.P.Y." (since we are at war with them also) - was doing a wonderful job of it too....until #10 from S.P.Y. turned his attention to me!
Well, I managed to squeeze into 10th place, but #10 started pounding me...so, since I'll be out of town this weekend, I went on "vacation." It probably royally pissed #10 off!
I've figured out a few things about the game. Anyway, earlier I was having a big problem with my cash flow...until I reorganized my buildings. The key for me was to destroy ALL of my huts. Sure, people left, but that didn't hurt me at all. I just used the extra acreage to build makets (as many I could) and farms(but only enough to be in the green). Concerning blacksmiths, I destroyed all but 100 of them and started buying my military off of the black market. Of course, in the beginning of the game, you need blacksmiths to build your military, but after you have a good sized one - raze'em most of them down and build markets in their place. Oh, and always have some guardtowers (for defense) and wizard towers for production of wizards. Barracks are also nice to have since they cheapen the cost of maintaining your military (of course the amount of barracks you should have is dependent on the size of ones military - but remember, don't build anymore barracks after you have 30% of your acreage as barracks - anymore and they don't give you any type of benefit.____________________________

Thanks for your help Wittlich and continued attempts to break down #4 , I know you tried your best, he is a very strong opponent.
There was a flaw in our strategy today but Sheng-ji Yang (Lazerus) and I will take him out big style on Saturday or Sunday at the latest.
He is very vunerable still, we have the power to attack him but need a good run at it and so are saving our turns. Once we finish him the next time he will find it much more difficult to recover.
I have some money left but only enough to survive myself, I need what I have to buy units for the next assault.

I dont use and buildings for units, they only produce a negligable amount and its really easy just to buy them off the black market when you need them. I tend to keep a minimun number of Farms (negative production still) and buy a lot of food on the black market in bult when I have a lot of money.
When I have few turns left I always ensure I have 100mil - 200mil in cash, thats enough for me to recover and buy enough units to attack next time I play (I usually play my turns in bulk i.e. 500+ twice a day). If you follow this strategy you have to be careful not to spend all your cash at the start as you need some spare to obsorb the negative income the extra units and loss of land (from the inevitable counter attacks).
I then pick a mid range opponent to get some easy land to build on to generate more money and balance the books. Then after say 100 turns ill have enough money to bulk buy a specific unit to target a strong players weak point. From here its land harvest city.
At the end of my turn I will build a moderate defence but even this is partly a waste of time due to the bulk buy specific unit type / targeted counter attack. I inevitably have a lot of money at that point so its wise to agree with another player (in the clan) to rotate excess cash at the end of your turns with the other player (this is when I am often able to send units / cash to members of the clan).
The power fluctuates wildly from one empires attacks to the subsequent retaliations. The sure way to solve this is to get clan members in the top 1 to 3 places where we will be to strong to be attacked, we also need to weaken the strongest opponent by continually attacking them and wear them down (i.e. #4 / TF clan). We should be able to accoplish this in 48 hours.
Tomorrow I will take 85% (or more)#4's land back, its at that point when he is weakest, the rest of the clan and allies need to attack him then and reduce his land to less than 3000 (ideally less than 1500), also attack with embezzlement spells as he will surely reserve cash for his next set of turns like I do.

I respect you as a good player, my attacks are not out of spite or anything. I am not in a position to offer peace right now as you are often the only player its worth me to attack (good land grab potential). Good luck though, hope you enjoy the game (we all suffer from this massive power swing every day lol).

I respect you as a good player, my offer of peace was a personal one (I have not attacked you). I am not in a position to speak for the whole clan. I am sorry if I did not make this clear (I guess other players see you as a strong player and thus good land grab potential (we all suffer from this massive power swing every day)

Though I would love to help I need to save everything ive got for my main offensice against #4 tomorrow.
There will be posts in the forum re #4's strengths and weeknesses tomorrow, basically when weve battered him to low land we will send cash / units (if we can) to other clan members to perform targetted attacks to know his land and money right down to as near 0 as possible.
Please read my post about it (4 posts above this), there are also some strategy tips.

Heya guys I've beat up on this guy enough I guess....nahI did one more Standard and a Hydro thinking maybe my galleon advantage would help me there...I lost 700 galleons, he lost 3000....is that good?
I've got my income flowing at about $1.1 million a turn....is that good?When I drop down to 75 turns I'll cash out the rest of them.

Dont sell your units unless you really need to for cash flow purposes (as they cost a lot more to buy than what you get from selling them), you can send them to another player (if you send them to me I will always return them with interest). You can also send cash.
By doing this the strength and cash flows from a player that has no turns and this little opportunity to benefit from it moves to another player who can, you need to check with who you are rotating with so you can be sure to get it back.
I can virtually guarantee anything send to me will be returned with at least a 25% maybe double (or more) return.
I usually play 500 turns in the morning and 500+ in the evening (my timezone is GMT i.e. EST+5).
I will be starting my next round of attacks in about 6 hours.

#30 took some land offa me, i really pummelled his air in return and took most (probably more) land back, since im not at war hes in protection now and i cant continue but any1 else from the clan should to help kill him since he has less then 200k jets now, he only had 8mill cash when i spied on him aswell so unless he gets aid sent hes not going to be able to support his infantry.Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world.
