    I am, like many people here, less leftist in economic issues. I mean, there's no future in the Soviet economic model, for instance (sorry, Tass... ). OTOH... I'm very leftist when the matter is about human rights, minorities, wars and welfare system. I have to be, I live in a "country under development"...

      Aro, what do you mean, leftist on human rights? I am a righty and am very strong on human rights. I consider being pro-democracy and pro-human rights to be a rightist position. At least that's where we are in the US today.

              Here in Brazil, the human rights has been exclusively a left wing concern. You know, we had a dictatorship till 20 years ago...
              Anyway, I am more a humanist than any other thing. I believe in reason and intelligence to solve problems.

                                Well, most of the discussions at family meetings are between my mother and my grandfather. ( he thinks Hitler was great because he fought against the communists and he is against democracy )
