No, they haven't. But they have uncovered Russian and French-made weaponry that, gee, somehow got into the Iraqi weapons arsenal long *after* the sanctions were put in place.

My, my. It appears American companies are hardly alone when it comes to whetting their appetites with weapons and restricted technology sales to certain governments. How *quaintly* human, hmmm?

well, we need more pro-american demonstrations.

      Why?

Do we need pro-America demonstrations in the US to show that Americans like their country?

The US won, there is no point in demonstrating for American.

Well. Don't forget that one of the excuses of invading Irak was that it was a threat to the world because it had MDW. The pentagon claimed that the had PROOF that there were MDW. So now, the world must ask USA: Where are the mass destruction weapons?????????
USA owes us a good explanation.

            Any evidences?
I saw how your troops found stockpiles of American anti-tank missiles and British SAMs that, gee, somehow got into the Iraqi weapons arsenal long *after* the sanctions were put in place. So what?
The only thing which I saw had "made in Russia" label was night vision goggle that's
            a) not a military night vision goggle
            b) could be bought here absolutely freely, easily and legally
            c) in fact designed for hunters
            d) cost around 75$.
Go ahead educate me, what else Russian eqipment your troops found?

Give them time. First they need to deliver those WMD from USA and put some Arabic letters on them. Fabrication of evidences it's not an easy process, it requires some time. But you can be sure sooner or later they will "find" many weapons of mass destruction. I guess it will be a huge arsenal.

Oh, honestly, who cares? Saddam is gone. Does the reason we went really matter anymore? Or should we say "Oops, sorry Saddam, here is your country back, go ahead and rape and torture as you were?"

Where, when and how you found a single Kornet?
You're just repeating words of your leadership which complained at the beginning of war that "we are doing not so well as we expected, because evil Russian sold some of their modern weaponry to Iraq. Blahblahblah. we know this but we have no proofs. blahblahblah.

If your leadership was unable to prove that Iraqis have Kornets, I doubt YOU can do this.

The reason was clear from the beginning- Iraqis oil.

Now you companies will start to pillage Iraq. Great alternative- we will kill your dictator, replace him with dozen of our dictators and we will have to rob you after that.

That is a very dangerous attitude to have.

Just posted this in other thread on this topic, but since that one's likely to be closed I'll put it here:

Even though Americans have no historical memory, other countries still do. It's been less than a century since the last time Iraq was occupied by Western power, and given the brutality of that occuption (for one thing, it featured the first use of ariel bombardment as a means of "pacifying" a civilian population -- thank you, Winston Churchill) it's no surprise that the Iraqi response now is, in the words of an old big band tune, "I told you I love you; now get out."
