Enjoy it while you can drake, cause it won't last.....

Isn't that what they said about '91 'worst to first' Braves and Twins?

But they could set a precedent.

Go Angels! (though I doubt a repeat performance will happen).

Well I'm glad you all are happy. My team on the other hand has decided to forget everything they know about good playing and suck. D'Backs need a swift kick in the ass and soon.

The Anaheim Angels started out the season 6-14 last year. A fast start means nothing in an endurance run.
To us, it is the BEAST.

                  True enough sava... but I would rather start 14 - 6 then 6 - 14.

But as a Cubs fan, I'm more used to 6 - 14 and out of the hunt by the end of May

                    ditto...

I've got some confidence in Dusty, but I had confidence in Baylor, too. The Cubs have 3 pitchers in Clement, Wood, and Prior that could potentially shut out a team on any given day. Alou's not slumping... if only the defense holds up, we should be in good shape. We need to get rid of Bellhorn, though, and get a real third baseman. Getting rid of Hundley and Girardi were great moves. Did you hear Prior's comments about pitching with Damian Miller?

I'm going to the game on Wednesday vs the Reds (if it doesn't rain).

Enjoy the game... bring home a victory. But the Reds have had the Cubs number since a few years ago.

                          The Tigers won yesterday!

                          YAY!

It only took 10 games to get a win this year... that's two whole games better than last season! See? REAL IMPROVEMENT, PEOPLE!

                                Laugh it up, friends.

But be honest--who do you think will win a World Series first: the Tigers, or the Cubs?

                                Cubs?

(Of course, both will win one before the Red Sox, naturally.)
