don't all our pitchers count in the weekly stats?
No. Only those you have in the starting lineup. All your pitchers on the bench do NOT count.
And I thought all our pitchers counted so how does changing pitchers help unless people have bench slots taken up by pitchers? But even in that case, a manager would simply be replacing one starting pitcher with another so there'd be no gain.
You aren't getting it. A manager can pick up some 3rd and 4th pitchers in a rotation and put them on the bench. If there is daily roster changes, then they can sub them in for the 1 and 2 pitchers they have on the days when they start, and then sub out the 3 and 4 pitchers and sub in the 1 and 2, etc. So you may have one team that has 10 starts in a week, while another team has 4.
Yes, sometimes you have a pitcher that pitches 2 times a week, but then it is 5 starts vs. 4. MUCH better than having 10 v. 4, or something similar.
You'd have to rotate pitchers in and out every day in order to stay competitive at all.
Not having daily roster changes possible because someone cannot or will not pay attention to their team penalizes the rest of us for paying attention.
No, it penalizes someone that isn't online every day. A lot of people mostly check during weekdays, because they are online at work. I don't feel like penalizing them.
And no, I haven't changed it, and I won't.
I just claimed Acevedo, he won't clear till today, and I can't use him till next weeK?
If you can get him in your starting lineup by midnight tonight, he'll be available for this week.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I guess yahoo wouldn't let you limit the bench slots to non-pitchers.
Exactly. The only way I could do it is have NO bench slots, and that I felt was even more unfair.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Isn't he on Montreal? Look at that rotation and then you'll understand.

Strange, Armas was my last pick and he's starting the season...
Whenever my pitchers go at it, its a home run festival.(and I never seem to have the batters on my team either)

You should hope for a 1-0 game, Maddux having a SHO and armasjr going 8 IP no decision... with 10 Ks on each side.
Imran, check out Armas' spring statsLooks like he might have finally blossomed.

Yes... but he still plays for Montreal.

You Noob!
You forgot to put your starting pitchers into your lineup for this week! Sorry man, but looks like you're toast in week one..."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

Armas pitched good today, but Maddux got torched. I still think Armas will get 11-12 wins.
