No way. This test is rigged to make people more leftist and libertarian
If anything I'm even more authoritarian than ever. It may be that some of my leftist type economic answers pull down my autoritarian answers.
BTW, Hitler should be a little on the left in this poll, not a little right.

Ralph Nader is Lebanese... he's probably a Mennonite Christian...
and Hitler is about right... he was in favour of capitalism just not decadent, jew-controlled capitalism. Hitler's pseudo-Social Darwinism wouldn't work if he was a socialist

I came out "Centerville" on the other test, but some of those questions were really problematic, because each "choice" actually contains several points that aren't necessarily connected. For instance, personally, I would keep minimum wage where it is, but I would increase employment regulations

Please tell us that that was an attempt at looking at things through Hitler's eyes, and not what you believe to be a statement of fact.

Hitler was a Keynesian socialist, Albert. He created state-run jobs on a massive scale. That he was murderous, bigoted scum doesn't make him any less of a socialist.
As for me, well moderate right-liberal as always, but the Political Compass is definitely skewed to the left. I answer as liberal/libertarian on social issues as possible and yet only score -4 or so, whereas dirty authoritarian communists somehow many -6 and beyond. Very odd.
Oh, and I'm in Centreville. Rock. Possibly would have been slightly more northwest were it not for particularly forthright views on the inadequacies of the US healthcare system, and - unlike most Americans - knowing the difference between "cutting taxes" and a "low tax economy".

What a coincidence, I am a Mennonite! (not a very good one though)
Hitler's policies supported autarky, which is basically national self sufficiency. He was a corporatist, (something that takes a while to explain, but definately not traditional capitalism). He was absolutely against free trade and other things. He did not believe in total redistribution of wealth, but he did believe in government ownership of key industries. He wasn't a Communist, but he definately wasn't a free trade, neo conservative capitalist, either. My economic views correspond a great deal with some of the National Socialist economic plans, and I largely agree with Keynes. I hate modern Republican/Libertarian economic policy.

That´s highly debatable. Sure, he created state-run jobs, but his goal was certainly not social equality (which would be a step towards socialism). Of course there was a lot of propaganda telling the people that every German had its place in the "Volksgemeinschaft", workers are as good as a doctors, artists etc.
But in reality, there were still huge gaps between the different social groups, and the Nazis didn´t much to change this.
