  • Iraq: Al-Faw peninsula is still under our control.
The last missile, which hits Kuwait, was sent from that peninsula.

P.S. Note that quite all world sources reported that coalition anit-missile defense failed to detect that attack.
Do not laugh! Coalition troops have captured Umm-Quasr for fifth time.

There is no Iraqi resistance in area. Just, the coalition likes the very process.

Last war, one group printed a bunch of Bibles in Arabic and English, sent them to US troops, with a letter suggesting that the US troops could improve their ability to communicate with the Arabian people by "getting one of your Arab friends to read the Bible with you"

Update on the RMC's - one Iraqi colonel KIA, one general captured, four other other officers captured.

Also, US Army has one Iraqi general captured who lead troops to a cache of shoulder-fired SAMs and six light AAA guns.

                  • Ice Cream Time! Rumors Sow Uncertainty in Ranks

                    By Matthew Green
NORTHWEST OF NASSIRIYA, Iraq (Reuters) - They say an ice cream machine is on its way.

"I hope it's true," said U.S. Marine Corporal Jason St. Pierre, resting on a crate at a roadside ammunition dump in southern Iraq.
The story is a fantasy, but like many of the rumors circulating among U.S. troops in Iraq, it does say something about what's on many soldiers' minds.

                            • Iraq would have acquired redoubtable missiles anti-tanks
                              Agence France-Presse
                              New York

Iraq bought during the last months up to thousand missiles Russian anti-tanks " Kornet », an acquisition which worries the American military responsibles after the destruction of two heavy tanks M1 Abrams near Samawah in the northwest of Bassorah, reveal the weekly Newsweek appeared on Sunday.

It is the first time which the United States lose in the fight two of these heavy tanks, which are nevertheless considered as "quasi(near of)"- invincible. According to Newsweek, in both cases they were destroyed by a missile Kornet, fired since an Iraqi jeep which had been able to approach armored cars during the sandstorm arisen some days ago.

The weekly clarifies, by quoting responsibles for the Pentagon, that about 500 missile Kornet would have last January been delivered to the regime of Bagdad by Ukrainian traders of weapons.

Others would have been able to be supplied, maybe by Syrian generals having the business acumen or even by the government of Damascus, according to Newsweek
