A better offensive line WILL help him... but he still can't read defenses... and if he hasn't learned it by now...
Snake is what he is, somebody with all the physical skills, and none of the mental skills...
    Keep on Civin'
RIP rah, Tony Bogey & Baron O

maybe with the proper coaching he can do something. I'm not sure he lacks the mental skills yet.

We will find out this year though. I would give him one year to prove himself.

        Diss:

All O-lines "cheat" and hold, even my own team does it. An O-line would be nice, and yes this would give him more time to throw... I think it is actually better that Jake will have someone to throw to... First time since ASU, had he that chance.

Yet, I think Ming is right; even with a good line, and good receivers, you need to be able to read the D, if not the D can just audible every play and smack ya!

Thinking on the fly is something highly reguarded in a QB, and is reasons why some QBs, despite never making it to a championship game, are held on a team year after year...

I will say, however, if anyone can teach him how to read a defense it is Shanahan (Go niners!).
        Monkey!!!

well I'm just quoting what defensive linemen say. Many teams acknowledge Denver gets away with the most. I can't say for sure if this is true. I have never lined up against them
