True, but either way it's not going to affect Alberta as much as it would the rest of Canada. There's no shortage of demand for Alberta oil, we ship it to Canada since you pay the same as everyone else we can ship to. If Canada suddenly decides to put tariffs or other taxes on Alberta oil, we'll just increase shipments south of the border. It's not like they ever have too much oil.Originally posted by obiwan18

We'd buy mideast oil if you jack oil prices too high, so there is a limit to how high you can price gouge.
