I have had great success with Honda. A few years ago, I bought my wife a Chrysler. That car has been a mess repair-wise.

    Go Honda for reliability.

According to consumer reports the five highest quality automakers in the American market are:

      1)Toyota
      2)GM
      3)Honda
      4)Ford
      5)Mercedes-Benz

I was kind of shocked that MB got beat by both Ford and GM but the truth is there is a lot more companies competeting for a slice of the American market then in Europe so it makes sense the winners are going to have to put together a high quality product.

My dad drove a company car Mercedes for a while. It was the biggest pile of crap on four wheels. At one point the electonics were so screwed up you could hear the windscreenwipers on the radio.

That is quite surprising as Mercs have always had a good reputation...but I suppose the same goes for Peugeots
