just because it's called "history tv", it doesnt mean they know what they're talking about

if a future historian took a single piece of text in mind he could characterize lots of americans as unpatriotic and traitors

Nah. They're a genetically slavic people basically analogous to today's Macedonians, who borrowed greek culture and language and created cruder, simpler copies. Kinda like a cargo cult.
