    *Architectural Design 128 (AAD 128)

    *Architectural Design 129 (AAD 129)
    6:00-6:50p - 2crs.
Cities and Buildings of the World (repeating course to benefit my Arch. Design classes) (AAD 114 or HUM 114)
    7-8:15p - 3crs.

    Friday
    *Architectural Graphics (AAD 106)

*Required 2nd Semester 1st Year Design Courses

I currently pay $0 for college as I still live with my parents and I'm in the local community college's 2-yr Arch. program. Later, if/when I transfer to UNLV (me hopes) I'll probably have to get scholarships and help foot the bill myself.

I always wondered what do those 'minors' mean.

Minors are basically areas where you've taken a significant number of credit hours, but not enough for a major.

Some departments aren't big enough to support a major, so minors are all that are offered. That's the way it is for my Asian Studies and Japanese minors; a minor was the farthest you could go.

Did you graduate from a Nevad high school in the year 2000 or later?

And why the hell would you come to UNLV on purpose when you've got such a good school right there?

Galena High School Class of 1999 missed the Millenium Scholarship by one effing year

And why the hell would you come to UNLV on purpose when you've got such a good school right there?
Because the Architectural program here at Truckee Meadows is only a 2yr program, it isn't a bachelor nor master degree, only an associate. This program is a joint program between the two schools, and I like both schools. If TMCC had a +4yr arch program that offered masters I'd take it without hesitation and just transfer if I wish to get a PhD. Sadly that just isn't going to happen. UNLV dominates Nevada's architectural programs, while UNR dominates the engineering programs, and the community colleges are pushed to the sidelines. There's university system politics in this story, but I've run out of time...

I have to go to work now, but I'll be back 8:30pst tonight.

I'm a double major in Computer Science and History.

                        • Comp Sci, no minors. (I don't think you're even allowed to have minors in grad school. I've never heard of it being done, at any rate.)

Right now it's a major in CS and minor in math.

In order to qualify for a math minor, I only need to take two additional math courses not required by CS, but can be very useful in CS (advanced graphics maths). Seems to make sense to me.

CPT (Computer Programming Technology, a more applications oriented CS) Minor

devilmunchkin - What kind of an internship is that? Next year, I should be doing something likke that and I'm curious.

Professional Writing is either technical writing or publishing and editing. I'm going for the publishing/editing split and trying to get a job at a publishing company or something.
