College Kiddies: What are you taking this Semester?
English 373: Science-Fiction and Fantasy (focusing on Cyborgs and Nanotechnology with some Mech. Eng. Prof.)
English 201: Intro. to Fiction (pure elective, thought it might be nice)
English 470: Theories of Rhetoric and Composition (we do buggerall)
Computer Programming Technology 175: Programming in Visual Basic
Math 152: (whatever is the required regular - I took 161 as a freshman and obviously did miserable)
Poli. Sci. 1--: International Relations (the Prof just reads notes that are exactly what the book says)
I never know their names, But i smile just the same
New faces...Strange places,
Most everything i see, Becomes a blur to me
-Grandaddy, "The Final Push to the Sum"
I am sure that that didn't matter at all (B+ is 3.33, physics was a bit higher than that)
in physics I got a B+ in almost every class, no matter now easy or how hard

GENERATION 35: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.
scolarship did the rest (and I only applied for ~1)
in grad school you get paid, you don't have to pay (in physics)

I don't think you're taking the same sort of lin alg course that algebra 2 was.
Is your class composed of systems of linear equations, multiplying matrices, and geometric problems? Those are applications.
so we do have applications... we didn't solve geometric problems though.
We learned about matrices, the solving of linear equations through the Gauss process, Vectorial spaces, and sub-spaces,Spans, bases of vectorial sub-spaces,dimensions,Linear dipendency, determinants, linear "copying" (I don't know the correct name for this ) and of course reveresed matrices, Adjoint matrices, self values ( english? ).
here, Linear Algebra is a substitute course for Algebra 1, more material, and 4 credits, instead of the 3.5 for Algebra 1.
I had a class where my first two tests (out of 3 plus afinal) I averaged a D
but I really brought it up on the last one and final (both As, I still only got a B in the class though)

What is Algebra 2?
I took that linear algebra class in CEGEP (sort of like pre-uni place that stupid quebec government created)
Algebra I is completely different. Introduces groups, rings and fields. Algebra II is about eigenvectors, diagonalization, Jordan Canonical Form, etc. and matrices with entries under other fields than the reals.
I'm taking
Creative Writing - Poetry
Intermediate French 1
Colonial Latin American History
Introduction To Psychology
Band
Neon Genesis Evangelion as Good Film
"mono has crazy flow and can rhyme words that shouldn't, like Eminem"
Drake Tungsten
"get contacts, get a haircut, get better clothes, and lose some weight"
Albert Speer
it's an exco class - experimental college.
I don't get any credit for it, just enjoyment and education. It's taught by a student.
The course work consists of watching the movie, discussion between episodes, and having lunch as a class once a week to discuss.
