Was this when they assasinated that former Nazi official in Argentina? That was a while ago.
I'm going to rub some stakes on my face and pour beer on my chest while I listen Guns'nRoses welcome to the jungle and watch porno. Lesbian porno.

No, it was definitely in Europe. And the reason I remember is that the Israeli agents were using Canadian passports to hide their identities. Needless to say, my government wasn't amused!

What I think we ought to do is charge Axis of Weasel countries outrageous prices for oil so that they wish they had joined the coalition. Imagine their gall, trying to grab our oil concessions out from under us, by being supportive of Saddam.

Let's teach 'em a lesson on reapolitik.

How about we not try to antagonize other countries, mkay? That's why the rest of the world doesn't like the US. Maybe, if we made diplomatic concessions, played the role of the good guy; then the rest of the world would agree with us whole-heartedly and support the idea that these regimes are bad and needs to go. Right now, nobody agrees with Bush because he's in a pissing contest with everybody he doesn't like. But if we stop these shenanigans, then the "Axis" countries will either follow suit, or continue to be bad, in which case the whole world will hate them instead of us.

I rather have the oil than the goodwill of Chirac.

We take care of our coalition partners. That's all you really have to know.

so the french and russians were gung ho to take out saddam when Clinton was in office???? When they pulled the plug on Butler and UNSCOM for being too tough, and set up Blix and Unmovic to go easier on Saddam?? When they thought it was no problem when UNMOVIC was forced out of Iraq??

No, this isnt about dubya. DOesnt matter who the american president is, or what his stance on Kyoto is. Its about national interest, and some nations seeing an interest in limiting american power - and its about American power - not american behvior (kinda like in Civ 2 when they dont like you cause youre supreme, does matter what you rep is)

Lotm, your response contained a lot of stuff I didn't even talk about. Kyoto? Clinton?

And you're basing your geopolitical stance on Civ2?

He's saying so, even as we "speak".

                            Adios, Saddam.

Idle threats from a little man. Are you personally going to lead the US military on an invasion of Canada? Get real! Better yet get counselling, you're obviously suffering from illusions of grandeur.
